Unfortunately, homelessness can't be cancelled. And with the way the economy will likely take a hit in the coming months, the homeless plight will increase. Our ladies are also at risk of losing hours and jobs as places begin to close to create more social distancing. We are working diligently with Staff and Board members to come up with plans to continue to bring in funds to operate. **At this time, our Spring fundraiser, The Second Chance Prom is postponed until further notice. As soon as we have a date we will share that here and on our Facebook page.
In order to keep our staff and residents safe we are limiting social interactions and ask that you do not bring clothing, shoes, toys, or household items to donate at this time.
We WILL gladly accept donations of necessary items such as: paper goods, laundry soap, hygiene products, Lysol, hand sanitizer, masks (homemade ones are great), canned and packaged (nonperishable) foods. As always, monetary donations are greatly needed as well.
We need your help more than ever to continue to give homeless women & children a safe place to stay and get back to self-sufficiency.If you are able, please consider donating so that we can continue to offer a safe place for these ladies and their families. Stay well everyone!
